Experienced Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer (PC-DMIS)

The Role

We are a well-established precision engineering company supplying high-quality components to demanding sectors. We are looking to recruit an to join our quality team.

This is a hands-on role involving both , working with complex precision components and tight tolerances.

Key Responsibilities

• Programming and operating CMMs using

• Carrying out

• Interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and tolerances

• Applying

  principles accurately

• Producing clear inspection reports and documentation

• Using manual inspection equipment (micrometers, verniers, height gauges, bore gauges, etc.)

• Supporting production and engineering teams with quality-related issues

• Maintaining quality standards in line with company procedures and customer requirements

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience as a

  in a precision engineering environment

• Strong working knowledge of

  (programming and inspection)

• Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings

• Good understanding of

• Experience inspecting complex, tight-tolerance components

• High attention to detail and a methodical approach

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience in aerospace, automotive, defence or similar high-spec sectors

• Knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001 / AS9100)

• Experience supporting audits or NPI activities
