We created it because it needed connecting.

Who Are We?

We're two time-served engineers.

We've spent our careers in UK manufacturing, working on shop floors, around machinery, solving problems, dealing with suppliers and seeing first-hand just how much capability exists across this country.

And yet so much of that capability remains disconnected, difficult to find or hidden behind closed doors.

We thought it was time to do something different.

Nobody Was Looking at the Bigger Picture

There are trade associations, membership organisations, business directories, networking groups, exhibitions and advertising platforms. They all have their place.

But we couldn't see anyone trying to connect the bigger picture.

And there was something else that didn't make sense to us.

Someone looking for a CNC machining company shouldn't have to create an account first. A buyer looking for a fabricator shouldn't have to become a member just to see who's available.

A business searching for automation, software, tooling, logistics, finance or another specialist service shouldn't be forced through a sign-up process before it can discover potential suppliers.

They should be able to search, find and connect.

That's the point.

Our members join Manufacturers Hub because they want their businesses to be discovered. So we're not interested in unnecessarily hiding them away.

The easier we make it for people to find our members, the more valuable the platform becomes for everyone.
