Manufacturers Hub will be stepping back from supporting Essex Manufacturing Alliance

events for the time being. This has been a considered and positive decision that allows us to focus on strengthening our national platform and ensuring long-term sustainability for our members.

We want to be clear that we continue to respect the work being done by the Essex Manufacturing Alliance and fully support their commitment to the local manufacturing community. Essex has a strong and proud industrial base, and initiatives that bring manufacturers together at a county level play an important role in that ecosystem.

As Manufacturers Hub continues to grow and become more established, we absolutely intend to look at ways we can support the Essex Manufacturing Alliance again in the future. Collaboration remains central to our values, and we see a long-term opportunity to work together when the timing and structure are right for both parties.

Why We Are Refocusing

1. Building Sustainable Foundations

As a growing national platform, our priority is to ensure that our resources, time, and partnerships are aligned with long-term impact. To serve our members across the UK effectively, we need to concentrate on strengthening the core infrastructure of Manufacturers Hub.

This focus will allow us to deliver greater value, better visibility, and more consistent opportunities for manufacturers and subcontractors across every region.

2. Championing Connected Manufacturing Across the UK

While we are proud of our Essex roots, our mission has always extended beyond any single county. We believe the UK manufacturing industry is strongest when regions are connected rather than operating in isolation.

Essex manufacturers work closely with businesses in Hertfordshire, London, Suffolk, Kent, and far beyond. Borders rarely define supply chains. Our role is to create a platform where every manufacturer and supplier has an equal opportunity to get found, get work, and get busy.

That vision remains unchanged.

Looking Ahead to Manufacturing Events

We are excited to share that a new Manufacturers Hub networking event will be launching soon. Sponsorship is already secured, and the event will provide a practical and welcoming space for manufacturers to meet, build relationships, and showcase their capabilities.

As we continue to grow and strengthen our position nationally, we look forward to exploring future collaboration with the Essex Manufacturing Alliance once we are in a position to add meaningful value in support of their work.

If you arrived here looking for Essex Manufacturing Alliance events, we warmly invite you to explore Manufacturers Hub and join our growing national network.

If you have any questions or would like to get involved, we would be pleased to speak with you.

Together, let’s keep British manufacturing moving forward through collaboration, visibility, and shared success.
