Manufacturers Hub - No longer a part of the Essex Manufacturing Alliance Events

We’d like to take a moment to inform our readers and members that Manufacturers Hub will no longer be offering support to the Essex Manufacturing Alliance (EMA).

Although we wish them every success in their future endeavours with Essex Manufacturing Alliance Events, and hope they achieve their goals, we felt it was the right time for us to step away. Our decision was based on two key reasons:

1. Lack of Funding and Unrealised Promises

From the outset, we were led to believe that certain opportunities and support structures were in place to help drive collaboration and growth across Essex’s manufacturing community. Unfortunately, the reality fell short of those expectations. We found ourselves being asked to give a great deal, with very little offered in return. As a result, we decided that continuing our support under those conditions was simply not sustainable.

2. Too Many Fractions Within Essex

Over time, it became clear that too many divisions were forming/formed within Essex’s manufacturing landscape. We strongly believe that Essex should be seen as one united manufacturing community — working together to strengthen the county as a whole, rather than focusing on individual towns and their own interests.

At Manufacturers Hub, while we’re proud to be based in Essex, our mission extends far beyond county borders. We want to see the whole of the UK manufacturing industry unite — one collaborative network rather than fragmented areas each pursuing their own priorities.

No single county has everything to offer, but together, the UK manufacturing sector can thrive. Our platform exists to ensure every manufacturer and every business supplying products or services to the industry has an equal opportunity to:👉 Get Found. Get Work. Get Busy!
