CNC Programmer/Miller

📍 Location: Harlow, Essex💼 Hours: 39-hour week

• Hours:

  Monday – Thursday

  07:30 – 16:30

  Friday: 07:30 – 12:30

• Optional overtime: at 1.5x

🔹 The Role

Sims Engineering is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Miller to join our team in Harlow. Working with Hurco and/or XYZ machines, you will be machining high-precision components for bespoke automation machinery.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC Hurco or XYZ mill

• Working to detailed CAD drawings to produce high-quality components

• Ensuring efficient and precise machining processes

• Collaborating with engineers to optimise production

🔹 What We’re Looking For

✅ Experience in CNC programming and milling

✅ Ability to read and interpret detailed CAD drawings

✅ Edgecam experience advantageous

✅ Strong attention to detail and quality

✅ Preference for applicants living locally to the Harlow area
