Frequently asked questions
Yes — small amounts of subcontract work are now starting to trickle through our RFQ section as this area of the platform continues to develop.
To access and view RFQs, two criteria must be met:
1. Complete the Business Audit form
This helps us understand your capabilities and ensure RFQs are shared with suitable businesses.
2. Sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
Once we have received your completed Business Audit, we will email you an NDA document.
As soon as the signed NDA is returned, we will unlock access to the RFQ section for your account.
We are actively engaging with suppliers and manufacturers to increase the volume of RFQs coming through the platform. While work is beginning to appear, this section is still growing, and we cannot yet guarantee a consistent or continuous flow of opportunities.
As more RFQs are received and processed, eligible members will be able to view them within the platform. Please continue to check this FAQ section for updates as the RFQ area evolves.
To access the RFQ section, you’ll first need to be a Premium Member of our platform. Once upgraded, there are two short forms that must be completed:
1. Specifications Form
This is a brief mini-audit of your company and takes less than five minutes to complete. It helps us understand key details such as your carbon footprint, the accreditations you hold, and other important information that allows work suppliers to choose not only the closest manufacturer, but also the greenest and quickest option.
We must receive this form along with any evidence of your accreditations before we can issue the next step.
2. NDA Form
Once your Specification Form and accreditation certs have been reviewed, we’ll send you an NDA to sign.
After both forms are fully completed and approved, you’ll gain access to the RFQ section and be able to submit quotes for any available work.
To submit work for quoting in our RFQ section, get in touch with us; we always welcome new enquiries.
Please email the details to sales@manufacturershub.co.uk,() and a member of our team will guide you through the next steps.

Access to our RFQ section is free, provided you are a Premium Member and have been approved after completing both required forms. We do not charge businesses to submit quotes, and there are no annual RFQ fees.
If you win a job, a 3% winners fee is payable within 7 days of you receiving payment for the completed work, as outlined in the NDA you must sign before gaining access. If this fee is not paid, all future quotes will be paused until the balance is cleared. Continued non-payment will result in your RFQ access being removed.
Example:
If you win a job worth £5,000, the 3% winners fee would be £150, payable to Manufacturers Hub.
This model allows us to keep RFQ access free, especially during periods when workflow may vary, ensuring you only pay if you win work.
Yes. To keep the RFQ section fair, secure, and reliable for all members, the following rules must be followed:
• Honesty in your forms:
We trust that all information submitted in your forms is accurate and honest. Work providers may request evidence to verify any claims you have made.
• No contacting suppliers directly:
As stated in the NDA, you must not contact our work suppliers for additional work, whether directly or through any other source, for 12 months after completing a job. Any attempt to poach or bypass the platform will result in permanent removal from the RFQ section. We maintain close relationships with all suppliers and do not tolerate unfair behaviour.
• High-quality work expectations:
If you win a job, you are expected to complete it to a high standard. Any business reported for supplying sub-standard work will have its RFQ access removed. If you cannot complete the job properly, do not quote for it.
• Work must be carried out in-house:
All work must be completed in-house unless you have clearly stated otherwise within your quote.
Anyone found subcontracting work to other companies, whether inside or outside the UK, without declaring it in their quote, will have their access revoked and may face fines if this breaches their NDA.
• Responsibility for external processes:
If you use external companies for surface treatments or similar processes, you are fully responsible for their work. We encourage you to use providers you already know and trust.
• Non-conforming work will not be paid for:
Jobs that are not fit for purpose will not be paid, so please ensure all work meets the required specifications.
These rules are in place to protect both suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring the RFQ system remains professional, trustworthy, and fair for everyone involved.
